The Popcorn Queens are looking for one motivated, outgoing, hard-working individual to assist us during the upcoming farmer’s market season where we will be vending in various locations in the DC metro area.  

Job Title: Sales Assistant

Job Details and Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Must:

• Have a car
• Be able to travel to markets in MD (Baltimore, White Oak) and DC (Southeast)
• Pick-up and drop-off products and vending materials
• Set up tent and table
• Sell popcorn products
• Handle cash and process credit/debit card transactions
• Be punctual with pick-up and set-up of products and vending materials
• Have a pleasant disposition and outgoing nature. (The sales assist. will need to entice customers to the table for tasting and not just wait for customers to come to them)

Pay: $10 an hour + bonuses for reaching sales goals

Commitment: May-August, 20 hrs. per week + opportunities to work larger, weekend vending events
